「個人が芸術を享受すること」と「社会の中での芸術の役割」に折り合いをつけることができるのか、つけるべきなのかを考えながら研究を続けています。研究対象は展覧会や出版物を通じた現代美術や写真で、近年は浮世絵にも広がりつつあります。
I continue my research while reflecting on whether—and how—we can reconcile the personal enjoyment of art with its role in society. My work focuses on contemporary art and photography as mediated through exhibitions and publications, and has recently been expanding to include ukiyo-e as well.
