マルティン・ハイデガー、ハンナ・アーレント、ハンス・ヨナスなどを中心とするドイツ語圏の現代思想に定位しながら、テクノロジーと社会の関係を広く研究対象としている。特に、SNS空間におけるコミュニケーションの変容、バイオテクノロジーの進化に伴う死生観の変化、未来世代への責任といったテーマに関心がある。また、哲学カフェなども実践しており、社会における新たな対話の空間の創出にも取り組んでいる。主著に、『ハンス・ヨナス 未来への責任：やがて来たる子どもたちのための倫理学』（慶應義塾大学出版会：2021）、『スマートな悪：技術と暴力について』（講談社：2022）、『生きることは頼ること：「自己責任論」から「弱い責任」へ』（講談社：2024）など。
My research focuses on the relationship between technology and society, based on contemporary thought, particularly that of Martin Heidegger, Hannah Arendt, and Hans Jonas. He is particularly interested in themes such as the transformation of communication in the SNS, changes in the view of life and death in the wake of the evolution of biotechnology, and our responsibility to future generations. He is also involved in the creation of new spaces for dialogue in society through the practice of philosophy cafes and other activities. His main publications include Hans Jonas Responsibility for the Future: Ethics for Children Who Will Come (Keio University Press: 2021), Smart Evil: On Technology and Violence (Kodansha: 2022), and To Live is to Depend: From "Self-Responsibility Theory" to "Weak Responsibility" (Kodansha: 2024).
