企画概要
通常、カタストロフィは突然、特定の場所と時間に降りかかってくるものだと受け止められている。しかしカタストロフィには、別の形態、より正確には別の側面がある。それは、実際にカタストロフィが起きてから見えてくる問題である。すなわちそれは、普段は可視化されておらず、問題の深刻さに事後的に気づく問題であったり、徐々にカタストロフィが迫ってくるがゆえに、逆に事前に対策が打たれることなく、その結果事態がより深刻化する問題であったりする。地球温暖化や地球規模で広がる格差、政治の腐敗、パンデミック、精神疾患、人口のアンバランス等が、カタストロフィのそうした別の形態ないし側面である。今年度のカンファレンスでは、そうした多様かつ遍在する慢性化したカタストロフィが正義の問題とどのように関わるのかに迫る。
