平和博物館での展示や教育の実践、社会の中での平和博物館の現状（成果や困難）、隣接する諸研究領域の成果の平和博物館への反映など、平和博物館の可能性について広汎に議論できるようなテーマの分科会を開催する予定です。

分科会報告募集
分科会での報告を募集します。報告時間は10～30分程度です。日本文もしくは英文で、A4・5枚以内の報告要旨を、2008年7月15日までに、事務局まで電子メールか郵送でお送り下さい。当会議での報告の採否、報告時間及び発表日程などの詳細については、追って事務局よりご連絡します。
ポスターセッション（資料展示）
立命館大学国際平和ミュージアム会場では、参加館や建設運動の現状を紹介・展示し、交流するための特別セッション（ポスターセッション）を開設します。
「平和のための博物館」情報をご提供下さい
会議の開催と並行して、日本と世界の「平和のための博物館」の情報を集め、冊子にまとめます。世界の「平和のための博物館」を網羅する印刷物を作成したいと思いますので、必要情報のご提供にご協力下さい。

Call for Papers
The International Conference of Peace Museums accepts all submitted papers for presentation. The paper should be in A4 format and should not exceed 5 pages. Paper in English is preferred where feasible. The deadline for the submission of written paper is July 15, 2008. 15 minutes will be allotted for each presentation.
Call for Posters
A special poster presentation session for participating museums and presentation on museum projects will be held at the Kyoto Museum for World Peace, Ritsumeikan University. Please refer to the conference website for further information.
Recruitment of Planning Committee Members and Volunteers
To make the conference more productive, we are recruiting those who wish to contribute to the conference planning and/or to cooperate as a translator. Please contact the secretariat if interested.
