System On a Chip for Network Applications

Welcome to Fujino Laboratory at Ritsumeikan University.

System On a Chip LSIs are widely used in various kinds of Electronics, Information and Communication systems. The performance of these LSIs depend on the configuration and characteristics of the embedded memory. On the other hand, the cost of SOC LSIs are increasing, because of the complicated LSI design costs and photomask cost. The new functional embedded memory design, and the configurable LSI design using electron beam lithography are studied in this laboratory. The network application such as Virtual Private Network using cryptography is also studied in order to demonstrate the LSI design technologies mentioned above.
