ポップカルチャー（映画・ドラマ・音楽等）をジェンダー的な視点から考える
Thinking about popular culture such as music, movies, and drama from a gender perspective

ゴール

音楽・映画・ドラマなどのポップカルチャーをジェンダー的な視点から分析することで本ゼミを自分の周りの社会に起こるジェンダー差別などの問題について考えるきっかけにし、社会に向けてアクションを起こせるようにしたい。例えば、フェミニズム嫌いの人も多い社会において私たちに身近なポップカルチャーからジェンダーについて考えることで共感できる/してもらえるフェミニズムの考えを広め、女性のエンパワーメントを進めるなど。
By analyzing popular culture from a gender perspective, I would like to make this Mirai zemi an opportunity for participants to think about gender issues occurring in the society around them and to take action toward society.

開催期間

2022年4月～2022年6月

頻度

週に１回1〜2時間程度・全8回を予定。対面とオンラインを併用するハイブリット形式で行う
Once a week for 1-2 hours for a total of 8 sessions.Conducted in a hybrid style that combines in-person and online

使用言語

基本的に日本語を用いる。必要に応じて英語を用いることもできるが逐次通訳はしない。
Basically, Japanese is used. English may be used if necessary, but consecutive interpretation will not be provided.

ゼミを立ち上げたいひと

文学部　4回生

なぜ、このゼミを立ち上げたいのか（思いのたけ）

　私たちの周りには多くの女性差別、セクシュアルマイノリティへの差別など多くのジェンダーに基づく差別がある。そこで、私たちの生活に密着している音楽やドラマ、映画などの大衆文化・ポップカルチャーをジェンダー的な視点から考えてみることで社会のジェンダー問題を解決したいと思い、このゼミを立ち上げた。

　また、オンライン交換留学を行い、アメリカの大学でジェンダー学を中心に学び、大衆文化から分析するジェンダーの研究が興味深く、さらに自分の考えを深めたいと思ったが、立命館大学では、ジェンダーについて学ぶことができる授業が少ないため、ゼミを立ち上げ、ジェンダーについて学びたいという思いを持っている学生と学びたいと思ったから。

　There are many gender-based discriminations around us, including discrimination against women and sexual minorities. Therefore, I launch this Mirai zemi with the hope of solving gender issues in society by considering popular culture which is closely connected to our daily lives, from a gendered perspective.

どんな人たちとゼミに取り組みたいか

・ジェンダー問題に少しでも関心がある人

・ジェンダーやフェミニズムについて多方面からアプローチしてみたい人

・身近なジェンダーに基づく差別に違和感を感じている/感じていた人

・その場にいる人を尊重できる人

どんなことに取り組みたいか

　文献を読み、ジェンダーやフェミニズムについてのそれぞれの考えを理解・共有した上で参加者それぞれが興味があるポップカルチャー（映画・ドラマ・音楽・雑誌など）をジェンダー的な視点から多方面からアプローチし、発表し、ディスカッションを行う予定である。例としては、日本のドラマでは「逃げ恥」、アメリカのドラマでは「POSE」などはジェンダーの問題を描いていて、ジェンダー的な視点から分析されている。

　また、社会におけるジェンダー平等に貢献できるように何らかの形（SNS等）で社会に発信したい。ゲストスピーカーも呼びたいと考えている。

　We will share and understand each thought about gender and feminism by reading an article. After that, the participants will approach pop culture (movies, dramas, music, magazines, etc.) of their respective interests from multiple perspectives from a gender perspective, present them, and discuss them.

　For example, “Nigehazi in Japanese drama and “POSE” in American drama showed gendered issues.
