英語コースの留学生の日本語使用を支える活動を計画し、試みること
To design some mechanisms that help increase the communication between international students in English course and Japanese students (focus on language and creative event design)

頻度

週に1回2時間程度・全8回を予定　（火・木の夜又は休日）
One eekly session that lasts about 2 hours, 8 weeks in total (the meeting will be arranged mostly on Tuesday/Thursday night or on weekend), online or on OIC campus.

　英語コースの留学生の日本語使用と異文化交流を促す

　I want to facilitate international students(mainly in English course)’ Japanese language use and cross-cultural communicationin.

どんな人たちとゼミに取り組みたいか

・留学生を支援したい、又は支援をしている人

・日本語の先生になりたい人

・日本語教育、在日外国人、言語政策などについて自主研究の実戦経験が欲しい人

・留学生とその支援機関とより深く交わりたい人

・Those who want to have closer interactions with international students support institutions

・Those who want to have research experience somehow related to Japanese education, immigrants, and language policy

・Those who want to support or are trying to support international students

・Those who want to work in Japanese education in the future

どんなことに取り組みたいか

　まだ日本語があまりできない英語コースの留学生の（特に日本語を使って行う）社交や異文化交流を促すこ方法について考えたい。

　いまのところは、英語コースの留学生の意見を尋ねたうえ、日本語教育センターとBBPの指導の下でボランティアグループを組み立てたい。

　意見のヘアリングと、立ち上げたいグループの具体的な役割、活動の場面、運営設計などをゼミで考えたい。

　We want to facilitate the communication between international students and Japanese students at OIC campus, especially for those students in English course and are stilling not very fluent in Japanese. We are currently trying to ask international and Japanese students about their monivation, preferences and difficulties in interaction. We want to collect idea, design events and meachanisms, with the support from BBP and Japanese education center.
