The Ritsumeikan Inamori Philosophy Research Center offers a platform to support researchers. A biggest advantage of the center is that the strong research partnerships with the business world. Currently, plans are underway to start collaborative research with organizations that practice Inamori’s management philosophy, including Kyocera, KDDI, Japan Airlines, and Seiwajyuku, a private management school. Scheduled activities include:

• Interview with Dr. Kazuo Inamori; Q and A session
• Interview with executive managers and employees of Kyocera and other companies that practice Inamori’s management philosophy; Q and A session; questionnaires
• Compilation of materials on Kyocera and other companies that practice Inamori’s management philosophy and translation of the materials
• Interview with organizers and students of Seiwajyuku; Q and A session
• Joint research with the Inamori Library and the Kyocera Management Research Section

In addition, we will develop a framework for collaborative research on Inamori’s management philosophy with domestic and foreign research institutes.
