International Criminal Justice (International Law, International Organizations, Peace and Conflict Studies)

Research on the laws related to the core crimes, which are the international crimes of concern to the international community as a whole, namely, genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, and crimes of aggression. I conduct theoretical and empirical analysis for designing, structuring, and practicing the international institutions for seeking for justice through prosecution of the perpetrators of core crimes and international cooperation, and for providing remedy and reconciliation for both victims and the perpetrators of core crimes.

International criminal justice is an international legal framework to respond to the core crimes committed in an extreme scale and brutality. It is an attempt to seek for justice for the commission of the core crimes which the people around the world have acknowledged to be evil beyond the cultural or historical gaps, and is a study field that asks in a global scale that what is humanity, justice, evil and fairness.
