The College of International Relations was founded in 1988, just before the collapse of the Cold War. We are the first international studies department in a Kansai region private university. For over 30years, the College has earned a respected reputation as a front-runner educator of international relations in Japan. The College has produced over 8,000 graduates (including postgraduate students) with an international outlook and excellent language skills. Many alumni are now working as global leaders in various industries, including diplomats, international organisations, and foreign companies. The College of International Relations Alumni Association, a group of alumni of the College of International Relations and the Graduate School of International Relations, support students in their career growth and development.
