平井嘉一郎記念図書館開館5周年記念企画「感謝と立志のメッセージ」募集のお知らせ （Japanese/English）

平井嘉一郎記念図書館は2021年4月1日で開館5周年を迎えます。

　図書館の館名にお名前を冠している故・平井嘉一郎様は、1940年に本学の法学部経済学科を卒業後、ニチコン株式会社を創業し半世紀にわたり同社発展に力を注がれ、世界に躍進する企業へと、その礎を作り上げてこられました。2001年1月20日93歳でご逝去なされるまで、真摯な人柄にして仕事一筋、有言実行・率先垂範の経営者としてご活躍されました。嘉一郎様は常々、次代を担う若者の育成についても貢献したいとのお考えを持っておられ、そのご遺志を引き継がれたご令室・平井信子様のご寄付によって平井嘉一郎記念図書館は建設されました。以来、本図書館は「学びが見える、学びに触れる、学びあえる」をコンセプトに掲げた立命館大学の知の拠点・アカデミックシンボルとして多くの利用者に愛され、現在も日々学生・教職員がここで学習・研究を深め、様々な成果を創出しています。

　今般開館5周年を記念して、利用者の皆様から「感謝と立志のメッセージ」を募集いたします。

  • 平井嘉一郎記念図書館の施設やサービスにおいて、ここがすごい、ここが優れていると感じていること

　200～400字程度でメッセージをお送りください。頂戴したメッセージは、2021年4月1日以降、平井嘉一郎記念図書館エントランスで掲示させていただく予定です。皆様からのご応募をお待ちしております。

Hirai Kaichiro Memorial Library 5th Anniversary Commemoration Project - Call for "Messages of Appreciation and Resolve"

※The submission period has been extended.
　On April 1, 2021, the Hirai Kaichiro Memorial Library will celebrate its 5th anniversary.

　The late Kaichiro Hirai, whose name the library bears, graduated from Ritsumeikan University's College of Law in 1940 and went on to found the Nichicon Corporation. Putting all his energy into developing the company over half a century, he laid the foundations for its eventual growth into a globally successful company. Until his passing on January 20, 2001 at 93 years old, Kaichiro Hirai was an earnest person who lived for his work as well as a dynamic employer who was both true to his word and always leading by example. He always wanted to contribute to the development of young people who would go on to lead the next generation. The new library was built in accordance with his will through funding donated by his wife and honored friend of Ritsumeikan, Nobuko Hirai. Since then, the library, which is based on the design concept of "see, touch, and mutual learning," has been loved by its many users as a hub of knowledge and academic symbol of Ritsumeikan University. Even now, students, faculty and staff members pursue their studies, further their research, and make a great variety of achievements at the library every day.

　To commemorate the 5th anniversary of the opening of the Hirai Kaichiro Memorial Library, we are calling for"Messages of Appreciation and Resolve".

　Messages should be between 200 - 400 Japanese characters, or up to 600 English letters, in length. Submitted messages will be displayed at the entrance to the Hirai Kaichiro Memorial Library from April 1, 2021. We look forward to receiving your submissions.

2020年度　春期特別貸出のご案内
2021年1月21日

通常、貸出期間14日間・貸出冊数20冊の学部学生（学部聴講生・短期留学生・交換留学生含む）について、1月25日(月)～3月21日(日）の期間、貸出期間を下記の通り延長します。
ただし、「進路・就職コーナー」「読楽コーナー」の資料等は、この期間中も通常通り14日間の貸出ですので、ご注意ください。

レポートや研究、就活など、何事においても前もって対象をよく知ることが必勝の要因です。……とは分かっていても、それでは私たちは一体何を準備すれば良いのでしょうか。
今回は、「企業（団体）訪問前の下調べ」という切り口から、公認会計士で管理会計、経営戦略分析を専門とされる政策科学部・服部利幸先生にご講演いただきます。
　先手を打つ言葉とは？切り込むための準備、予習の技法をぜひとも会得してください。

【回答特典あり】図書館アンケートへのご協力のお願い（Japanese/English）

立命館大学図書館では、サービス向上のための情報を集めることを目的として、学部生・院生の利用動向やニーズを調査するアンケートを実施します。
今年度はCOVID-19の影響により、図書館サービスが大きく変わりました。
コロナ禍で実施した図書館サービスに対する満足度を明らかにして次年度以降の改善に向けて利用していきたいと考えています。
アンケートは主に選択式で、設問数は18問、所要時間は5分程度です。
取得した結果は特徴をまとめ分析し、図書館ホームページ上に公開予定です。
氏名・所属などを直接公表することはありません。


回答者特典として、抽選で以下の景品を贈呈します。
（当選の発表は連絡を持ってかえさせていただきます。）

■ Please take a moment to fill out the Library User Survey ■

The aim of this survey is to improve the management and services of the Ritsumeikan University libraries.
Due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the services provided by the library changed significantly this year.
We would like to clarify the degree of user satisfaction with the library services provided during the COVID-19 pandemic and use these results to make improvements next year and beyond.

It will take about 5 minutes to complete the survey. It consists of a total of 18 questions. An analysis of the results will be published on the library homepage. Collected data will be processed statistically and individual details such as your name and affiliation will not be disclosed.

From the respondents, 10 people will be randomly selected to receive a 1000 yen book voucher, 20 people will receive a 500 yen book voucher, and 100 people will receive library promotional items. (Announcement of winners will be made by contacting winning participants only.)
