なぜ戦争が起きるのかを考える
Consider why wars happen

ゴール

1人1人がなぜ戦争が起こるのか、平和を構築するためにはどのようなことが必要なのかを考えられるようにすること。
To enable each person to think about why wars happen and what it takes to build peace.

開催期間

2022年4月～2022年6月

頻度

週に1回2時間程度、全8回を予定。ディスカッションがあるため、原則対面実施を予定している。参加者の希望に添ってハイブリット形式も可能。
The program will be held once a week for about 2 hours, for a total od 8 sessions. In principle, face to face implementation is planned. Hybrid format is also possible according to the wishes of the participants. Basically, done in Japanese

使用言語

基本的に日本語を用いる。必要に応じて英語を用いることもできるが逐次通訳はしない。
Basically, Japanese is used. English may be used if necessary, but consecutive interpretation will not be provided.

なぜ、このゼミを立ち上げたいのか（思いのたけ）

　現在、ウクライナ侵攻など国際情勢が不安定であることに関心を持つ学生は、多くいるだろう。しかし、学生同士が対話を通じて、戦争や平和について学びを深める機会は乏しいように感じ、対話を通して考える場をつくりたいと考えた為。

Many students may be interested in the current unstable international situation, such as the invasion of Ukraine. However, I felt that there are not enough opportunities for students to deepen their knowledge of war and peace through dialogue, and I wanted to create a place to think through dialogue.

どんなことに取り組みたいか

　戦争や非暴力に関する文献を読み、対話を通して知識を深める。特に、戦争が起こる原因は何か、なぜ人は戦争を起こしてしまうのかという課題に特化してディスカッションをしたい。

　さらにそこから、国家権力に寄らない平和構築の方法を模索したい。ゲストスピーカーやゼミからフィールドワークに繋がるようなきっかけづくりを仲間と一緒に行いたい。

Deepen knowledge through literature reading and dialogue on war and nonviolence.

In particular, we would like to have a discussion dedicated to the issue of what causes ward and why people start them. From there, we would like to explore ways to build peace that do not depend on state power. I would like to work with companions to create an opportunity for guest speakers and seminars to lead to fieldwork.
