Junior High School Grades 1 and 2 (Second Stage - Second Half)

One of the goals of the program is for students to become accepting of others and improve themselves through diverse friendships, so classes are composed of a mix of students from Ritsumeikan Primary School and students from other elementary schools. Mathematics and English are taught in small group classes. Particularly English classes are divided according to learning background, allowing each student to deepen their learning.

CL Course

Cultivating an “inquisitive spirit” to enable self-discovery and self-learning.

Through a well-balanced study of all subjects, with a focus on Japanese, mathematics, and English, students will acquire writing skills, including reading comprehension, which is the foundation for thinking. In addition, through experiments and extracurricular learning, students cultivate an attitude of self-discovery and self-learning.

Refining sensitivity and nurturing a rich sense of humanity.

Emphasis is placed on nurturing a rich sense of humanity within students. Through a variety of classes and school events, we nurture sensitivity and creativity, and make students aware of the importance of fulfilling their responsibilities.

AL Course

Strengthening the foundation of learning through specialized curriculum.

From an early stage, we thoroughly develop the academic skills necessary to take entrance exams for medical schools and difficult universities. While increasing students desire to learn, we will guide them to the MS (Humanities and Sciences Specialization) course from the third year of junior high school and help them clarify the path to achieving their goals.

Education that emphasizes research and experiments that stimulate curiosity.

We respect students' honest curiosity and spontaneous attitude toward learning. Rather than only focusing on accumulating knowledge, many opportunities for inquiry and experiments are incorporated into our classes. In addition, students learn the importance of communicating their ideas and research results through debates and presentations.
