The social environment surrounding us is changing dramatically due to unexpected factors such as the rapid advancement of science and technology centered on AI, such as the development of ChatGPT, the more frequent occurrence of abnormal weather around the world, and wars with no end in sight. To survive in such a world while achieving happiness as an independent human being, respect for human diversity, the ability to adapt to diverse social environments, and a flexible way of thinking are essential. In addition, it is also necessary to be able to demonstrate one's own strengths and individuality in any situation and cooperate confidently with others to achieve one's goals. Furthermore, we need strong-willed leaders that are driven by aspirations for peace and the desire to lead society in a better direction.

Ritsumeikan Junior and Senior High School, founded in 1905, has continued to build on its traditions as a school that nurtures "people who create new values and contribute to the future" by equipping students with the qualities and aspirations needed in each era. The school has been designated as a Super Science High School (SSH) for 22 years, the longest such designation in Japan, and has been involved in various international and progressive activities with 16 partner schools overseas.

Ritsumeikan Academy will continue to support each student's individual growth and development while taking advantage of its rich international academic environment, including Ritsumeikan Primary School and other Ritsumeikan-affiliated schools, Ritsumeikan University, and Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University.
