ポーランド・ウッチ大学トマシュ・ドロジンスキ教授が立命館大学 OIC にて客員教授として活動されました

　ポーランド・ウッチ大学（University of Lodz）のトマシュ・ドロジンスキ（Tomasz Dorożyński）教授は、2025年6月1日から7月31日までの2か月間、大阪いばらきキャンパスにおいて、経営学部および経営管理研究科で客員教授として教育・研究活動を行いました。

　ドロジンスキ教授は、学部では「Internationalization of firms」、研究科では「 Japanese MNEs in Central and Eastern Europe」の科目を担当し、企業の国際化や中・東欧における日本多国籍企業の展開をテーマとした講義が行われました。また、ドロジンスキ教授の尽力により、受講生はシュルンツェゼミの学生と合同で2025年大阪・関西万博を訪問した際、ポーランド館の「創造性の遺伝子」をテーマとした展示をVIPとして見学する機会を得ました。さらに、ドイツ館では循環型経済の理念を、中国館では人間と自然の調和を学びました。

　さらに、本学の国際共同研究推進プログラムを通じて経営学部のシュルンツェ教授とともに、経営地理学研究グループとして数多くの研究活動を展開しました。2025年6月27日には、グループ独自に開発した「ManGeo３レベルモデル」を紹介するワークショップを実施し、経営方式の移転および多国籍企業の現地埋め込みについて議論されました。同ワークショップでは、本学学生がウッチ大学の学生とオンラインで意見交換を行いました。こうした研究活動の成果は、ポズナン（ポーランド）で開催されたIGU-CDES国際会議で共同発表され、また、国際ビジネス分野のトップジャーナルに論文として投稿されました。

　ドロジンスキ教授の教育・研究活動は、立命館大学とウッチ大学との間で締結された学術交流協定の趣旨に沿い、両大学の関係強化と発展に大きく貢献しました。

Professor Tomasz Dorożyński, University of Lodz (Poland), was invited as a Visiting Professor by Ritsumeikan University to teach at the Osaka Ibaraki Campus, College of Business Administration, and the Graduate School of Business Administration for a period of two months, from June 1 to July 31, 2025. He delivered lectures for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students, focusing on the internationalization of firms and Japanese MNEs in Central and Eastern Europe.

Professor Dorożyński also provided the opportunity for R+ students to visit the Polish Pavilion showcasing the “gene of creativity" at EXPO 2025 Osaka Kansai, where they were invited as VIPs. Students studied the concept of the circular economy at the German pavilion, and at the Chinese pavilion they explored the harmony between humanity and nature.

Professor Dorożyński carried out numerous research activities through the International Collaborative Research Promotion Program together with Professor Rolf D. Schlunze for ManGeo Research Group. On June 27, 2025, a workshop was conducted, introducing the original ManGeo Three-Level Model that investigates the transfer of managerial practices and MNE embeddedness. During the workshop, R+ students exchanged opinions with Professor Dorożyński’s students at the University of Lodz via ZOOM. His research efforts led to a joint publication disseminated at the IGU-CDES Conference held in Poznan, Poland; it has now been submitted to a leading IB journal.

Prof. Dorożyński’s research and teaching activities contributed to strengthening and developing the relations between Ritsumeikan University and the University of Lodz, in line with the goals stated in the bilateral agreement signed by both university rectors.
