Scholarships to Support Students' Learning and Growth in the Regular Curriculum.
立命館大学では、正課での学びと成長を支援するものとして、次の３つの奨学金を設置しています。
Ritsumeikan University has established the following three scholarships to support students' learning and growth in the regular curriculum.
西園寺記念奨学金（成績優秀者枠）Saionji Memorial Scholarship (Academically Outstanding Students Category)
目的／Objectives
学士の学位を得るための教育課程において優秀な成績をおさめ、本大学における学びと成長の模範となる学生を励ますこと
To encourage students who are recognized as having achieved excellent grades in their academic courses leading to a bachelor’s degree and who exemplify learning and growth at the University.
給付対象となる回生および学期／Eligible students by year and semester
4月入学生：1回生秋学期～4回生（薬学部薬学科は6回生）春学期
9月入学生：1回生春学期〜4回生秋学期
Students who enrolled in April:
First-year students in the Fall Semester through fourth-year students (or through sixth-year students for those in the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences) in the Spring Semester
Students who enrolled in September:
First-year students in the Spring Semester through fourth-year students in the Fall Semester.
選考の対象となる期間／Period on which scholarship selection is based
給付対象となる学期の１つ前の学期
学期ごとの成績を選考の単位とします。
The semester preceding the semester in which the scholarship is to be issued
Selection will be conducted based on the grades achieved in each semester.

選考／Selection
選考基準にもとづき、給付人数枠内で優秀者から順に学部が推薦・決定します。
Based on the selection criteria, the college faculty will recommend and determine the applicants in order of merit, within the set number of recipients.

目的／Objectives
各学部の学士の学位を得るための教育課程において良好な成績をおさめ、所属する学部の教学的取組みにおいて優れた成果をあげたと認められる学生を励ますことにより、学業の奨励および有為な人材の育成に資すること
To encourage academic excellence and contribute to the development of talented individuals by encouraging students who are recognized as having achieved good grades in their academic courses leading to a bachelor's degree in their college and as having achieved excellence in their academic endeavors

学びのコミュニティ学外活動奨励奨学金（正課授業）Learning Community Off-Campus Activity Encouragement Scholarship (For Curricular Classes)
目的／Objectives
授業における学習活動について、当該授業を受講している学部学生の活動費用の一部相当額を奨学金として給付することによって奨励し、主体的、かつ、能動的に学ぶ学生の学習集団を育成すること
To encourage learning activities in the class by providing scholarships to undergraduates taking the relevant classes to partially cover the cost of their activities, and to foster a group learning among students who are independent and proactive in their studies
応募／Application
応募は授業担当教員が行います（学生は応募できません）。
The instructor of the class will apply (as students are not allowed to apply).
