☆ついに対面授業が開始☆

こんにちは。IMコースです。

コロナ禍の中，IMコースではカナダへの留学派遣を継続しています。

　外部からのコロナ禍に対するお問い合わせも多いので，定期的にコロナ禍の留学について情報を発信させていただこうと思い，『IMコース　留学体験記』を書かせていただこうと思いました。

この様な状況下でも，海外で頑張っている生徒の様子を覗いていただけると嬉しいです。

第１回は「ついに対面授業がスタート」というテーマで書かせていただきます。

実は，IMコースでは2021年4月に留学派遣を再開しました。

　当初は対面授業が行われていたカナダでしたが，渡航直後にロックダウンとなり，これまでの５ヶ月間生徒達はオンライン授業での留学生活を送っていました。長い長いオンライン期間を過ごしてきた生徒達ですが，ついに9月7日からついに対面授業が再開されることになりました。

対面授業が再開された緊張の登校初日。どんな気持ちで学校生活が始まったのか覗いてみましょう。

今回は２年生のSさんがリポートに協力してくれましたので，どうぞお読みください。

~first day~

I was worried if I was able to make friends.

I took music Instruments and accounting financial in week 1.

Music class was really fun for me because the music teacher and students were very friendly. The Music teacher was very kind so I appreciated for her helping. The music class was a class that student can play any instruments they want to play. I played the clarinet in the class. It was difficult for me to make sounds, but it was interesting. One student who was playing the same instrument was helpful. There was one exchange student in music class. She is from Spain, and she became my first friend in Canada. I could invite her to have lunch with me so we had lunch together. I was very surprised that most of the students went home at lunch time so I couldn't have time to talk with another students. I have to think of what I should do to make more friends. However, I could great lunch time. We talked about each other.

Afternoon, I took accounting financial. To be honest, I was bored. I have two reasons. First, the teacher spoke about herself, covid-19, and this class for about 50 minutes. I knew it was really important. Second, there were a lot of students, so I was nervous. There are glade 11 and glade 12 students in this class. I regret not being able to speak with courage. I couldn't make friends at this class.

One class has 2 hours and a half so it is so hard but we can feel the sense of accomplishment. Today's goal was to make friends, to take pictures with new friends, and to share Instagram. I was able to achieve these goals!! I relieved that the first day was over, but it became a special day with lots of challenges for the future.

I think that really important thing is the courage to say one sentence. For example, let's have lunch together. If we give up the feeling of embarrassment, this is easy.

　登校初日に，楽器という共通点を通してできた初めての友達。一生の思い出になりそうですね。Sさんが勇気を持って一歩を踏み出す様子が伝わってきました。

これから、たくさんの経験を積んでさらに大きく成長して欲しいと思います。
