| 研究者DBリンク | 私は、学生時代にカナダとカンボジアに留学しました。いわゆる先進国と開発途上国の二つの社会に住む経験をしたことは、今の私を形作っていると感じます。とくに以下の3つの力が高まったと思います。日本語以外の言葉を使って自分を表現し、時に失敗する自分を受け止める力（失敗力）、寒い・暑い、便利・不便に適応する力（適応力）、日本を客観的に見る力（比較観察力）。留学を考えているみなさん、ぜひ相談に来てください! I studied abroad in Canada and Combodia in my 20s. The experiences of living in two societies, one so-called developed and the other developing, have saped who I am today. In particular, they have enhaced my touhness, resilience, and comparative perspectives. Firstly, I am generally not afraid of taking risks by stepping outside my comfort zone and to overcome phycological fear. I learnt to enjoy the process of making mistakes and growing in the process (toughness). Secondly, I became better at adaptig to inconveniences, uncomfortableness, or adversitied (reslience). Thirdly, I can be very critical about Japanese society (comparative perspective). Studying abroad is a wonderful way to discover things about yourself that yu may not have been aware of previously ! |

| 研究者DBリンク | イギリスの大学院の修士課程と博士課程で学びました。幼いころにはシンガポールに住んでいたこともあります。ものの「あわい」にあるもの、境界で起こる事柄への関心から、パラテクストの概念を応用したパフォーマンス作品の分析を研究テーマとしています。留学や海外大学院への進学に関する相談はいつでも歓迎です。新しい土地や人々と出会うことできっと世界が広がります。学内でできることもありますので、まずは気軽にBBPに立ち寄ってみてくださいね！ My current research interest is paratextuality in contemporary theatre practice, and I have always been fascinated by what lies "in-between" and what happens at the intersections - in this case, betwee the text and beyond the text. I completed my MA and PhD in the UK and lived in Singapore when I was young. Students are more than welcome to come by at BBP to discuss plans and concerns about studying abroad. Living in new places and meeting people will surely be a transformative life experience! |
