国際関係研究科では、国際機関ワークショップ（「国際機関研究」)の一環として、6月7日、JICA研究所　小中鉄雄氏による特別講義を開催しました。当日は、国際機関ワークショップ受講生をはじめ約20名が参加し、「危機後の開発援助の新展望：日本のODAとJICAの動き」をテーマに、レクチャー、ディスカッションを行ないました。

国際関係学部では、例年、日本人学生と国際学生が交流するIR Nightを開催しています。

グローバル・スタディーズ専攻開設初年度である今年は、25％超の留学生を含む250名 が参加し、GS専攻の学生らによるダンスパフォーマンスや、国際関係学部教員によるバンド演奏などで交流を深めました。

国際関係学部では、この春、韓国、シンガポール、パラグアイなどからの留学生を含む337名の2011年度入学生（国際関係学専攻（305名）、Global Studies 専攻（32名））を迎えました。新入生は、大阪ドームで実施された全学入学式、衣笠キャンパスで実施されたオリエンテーションに参加した後、基礎演習をはじめとした様々な授業で学んでいます。

On Tuesday, March 22, college graduation ceremonies were held all over Ritsumeikan University, marking the end of university life for hundreds of students.

For many schools including the College of International Relations and Graduate School of International Relations, this year's ceremony was a memorable one filled with feelings of joy, reflection, and even tears.

Dean of the College of IR, Professor Itaki, touched on recent global events in his speech, noting that with all the pressing issues engulfing today's world, the current generation has a special obligation to be active in the world and help mankind in any way possible. Class of 2011,congratulations and good luck!
